Dear Briarwood Soccer Club Parents,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord! As you all know, we are living through unprecedented times concerning the COVID-19 virus. I'm writing to let you know that we continue to monitor the situation throughout each day. We are aware and want to be diligent in our effort to protect everyone involved with the Briarwood Soccer Club and opposing teams/clubs. We are monitoring responses and mandates and will respond to those as they are handed down to us by our leadership. As I write this most all of you are being affected in many ways including cancelations.
Today the Alabama Soccer Association issued a statement suspending all soccer practices and games through April 15. The Briarwood Soccer Club supports this position and will also suspend all practices and games for all age groups, including travel to tournaments, until at least April 15. As we approach that date we will inform you of decisions going forward.
There are likely to be questions and concerns that arise daily. We will attempt to address those proactively, but ask for your patience as we deal with different issues.
God is sovereign. He will guide us through this as we prayerfully go to Him.
