Below is a list of important things to know for camp before it begins:
Reach out to Brenda Parks-Cheer Camp Director with any questions.

- Please do not send your daughter to camp if she is sick or running a fever.
- CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 8:45 AM IN THE GYM. Please do not arrive before 8:45am on Monday due to the numerous camps taking place that week. We are trying to stagger drop-off times to allow things to move swiftly and to help with parking.
- ENTER THE GYM LOBBY. Please follow the signs and stay in the left lane, and registration will be inside the gym.
- You will need to park in the parking lot in front of the chapel or playground area. DO NOT PARK ON THE CURB OR LOADING ZONE.
- You must walk your daughter in and sign her in/out for drop off and pick-up. If there is someone other than you picking up each day, their name needs to be added to the sign-in sheet on the first day of camp. The person picking up will be required to show a driver’s license.
- Camp begins at 9:00am each day and ends at 12:00pm. Please have your daughter arrive on time and picked up promptly at 12:00pm.
- Girls will need to wear comfortable shirts, shorts or skorts, and tennis shoes. They will not be allowed to cheer barefoot or in flip flops.
- Girls will need to BRING A WATER BOTTLE with their name on it! A snack will be provided each day. Although we don’t have snacks with peanuts, if your child has allergies or special food needs, please send your own snack for her. E.g. gluten free.
- A celebration Pep Rally will be held on Friday, July 10th at 11:30 in the Gym at Briarwood Church. This will be a great time for parents to come and see what the girls have learned during the week.
- T-Shirts are included in the camp fee and will be handed out to the girls earlier in the week! Girls will wear their camp t-shirt and white shorts or skorts the last day of camp for Celebration Pep Rally.

Our cheer classes emphasize character, unity, joy, and love as girls experience the love of Christ from godly role models, living for Christ by Biblical principles, and the joy of serving Christ together and encouraging one another through the power of the Holy Spirit (Philippians 2:1-4).
The class is taught by Brenda Parks, a former University of Alabama cheerleader and UCA instructor who has 30+ years of cheer experience in classes, clinics, camps, private lessons, cheer prep classes for tryouts, as well as Jr. High and High School choreography, coaching, and fitness.
